UK B2B Sales Manager

Ripple offers fractional ownership of large scale wind farms and solar parks. Owners benefit from decades of low and stable cost electricity as well as reducing their climate impact.
You will build Ripple’s business customer base, securing new sales and acting as the point of contact for existing larger customers. You will help Ripple grow into a valuable climate solution for businesses across the UK.
As a key member of our team, you will also help evolve our products in response to customer feedback, ensuring they meets customers’ needs.
Objectives
- Above all else, secure multi-million pound deals for businesses and organisations to own Ripple wind farms and solar parks
- Communicate the unique benefits of Ripple’s innovative energy proposition to attract new business customers
- Build and nurture a B2B customer base for Ripple’s core offer
Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for B2B customer funnel
- Build a robust pipeline of new opportunities and methodically move customers through the purchase process
- Execute the UK sales strategy to drive growth, market penetration and brand awareness
- Carry voice of the customer and market to influence product roadmap, marketing initiatives, and corporate priorities
- Deliver presentations at customer and industry events
- Track sales operations metrics and financial performance against targets using CRM system
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years in a high value sales role, ideally within the energy sector
- Demonstrable success in meeting multi-million pound sales targets
- Experience managing sales funnels through the use of CRM systems
- Incredible client management skills
- Comfortable with multi-tasking, resolving competing priorities and meeting deadlines
- A self-starter, who thrives in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Flexibility – we’re a start-up and things move quickly
- Clarity and professionalism – the ability to present ideas in a clear and compelling way
- Ability to work in the UK
- Willingness and ability to travel

The role can be based in our London, or Ayr office or home based, with a requirement for travel throughout the UK.
